I’ve been struggling to find a better way to worship on Sunday during church. A wiggly almost one-year-old makes any hopes of pulling out my scriptures – paper or electronic – nearly impossible unless I want to share. Last Saturday while listening to the General Women’s Broadcast, I was touched by the example of Neill F. Marriott:
I have now begun to learn the words of “The Living Christ” as these sisters did, and because of their influence I am more fully experiencing the sacramental covenant to always remember the Savior as I repeat over and over the Apostles’ testimony of Christ. The sacrament is taking on a deeper meaning for me.
I’m hoping that as I take the time to really learn “The Living Christ” I will be able to have words in my mind and heart during sacrament meeting that I can ponder as well as throughout the week. The challenge is finding a way to get those words into my head.
I ran across this idea for displaying the Articles of Faith on Sunday which were great inspiration for my 13 posters. I hung them on the completely blank wall above our table to read while we are eating meals or playing with toys. I included pictures of Christ so we can talk about them with Emily throughout the day. There are 13 weeks (give or take a few days) until Christmas so I’m trying to focus on one poster a week.

I LOVE these! I have tried a few different times (unsuccessfully each time) to memorize the living Christ. I have the first section down but that’s as fas as I’ve ever gotten. I’m going to try again with your lovely posters! Thanks.
What a fantastic idea :)
