We made lava cake for a FHE recently – it was a great success. Andrew was armed and ready to grab them from the oven.
And they tasted delicious!
On Friday we went to our first free Provo Rooftop Concert Series. It was a very interesting experience. The opening group did a lot of rapping – the only lyrics I caught were “I show my gangs signs and I don’t know what I mean”. There was a cute little family sitting in front of us with three kids that each had a teddy bear that they danced with and threw around. The smallest teddy bear lost its right arm during the event, but it didn’t seem to cause too much alarm. We ended the night with some snow cones that Andrew said are the best he has ever had and we never have to try another snow cone shack again.
We had family who are currently living in Lebanon come to visit toward the end of June. Because they missed Christmas and the 4th of July is my aunt’s favorite holiday, we had a patriotic Christmas in the middle of the summer. Getting the decorations ready before they arrived was the best part!
