First, I have been completely absent from the blogging world due to the busyness that comes from student teaching and other activities. One day I will have time (hopefully in a week when I’m finished!) to posts some updates about our adventures.
In the meantime, we are excited to announce that we will be moving to Indiana at the end of June/beginning of July so Andrew can start his masters at Purdue University! I don’t think a boilermaker is quite as cool as a cougar, but I’ll support Andrew as he adopts a new mascot. I had never planned on living in that state, and Andrew assures me he had never considered it previously, but we are now embarking on a new adventure that we are both quite excited about! With my online research so far I have discovered that there are lots of farmers markets, so I’m looking forward to fresh fruits and vegetables. When we arrive I plan to discovering some more things to enjoy about living in Indiana.
For anyone who is a little rusty on Indiana geography (me!), Purdue is located in West Lafayette (B), which is a handy 2 1/2 hours from Chicago (A), and one hour away from Indianapolis (C).
And for our second piece of big news (two exclamation marks have significance here):
We will be adding a BABY to our family, due October 7!
