A few Sundays ago we decided to enjoy the beautiful weather by trying our hand at family pictures. We grabbed the camera, tripod, and remote and off we went to recreate the success we had a few years ago. It was an entirely different experience this time around.
Emily stood for one test picture while we set up and then she was off.
Nathan was a fairly willing (or captive…) subject so we took advantage of the opportunity to get some mother son and father son pictures with our boy.
His faces all day were PRICELESS. I can’t help but giggle every time.
Trying to get two kids in the picture was humorous at best and sad for at least one of us at its worst.
With some remote control bribery we did manage to get a few shots of us all together.

At the end of the day, we decided it might be time to invite a photographer along for our next family picture session.
