Father's Day and Andrew's 31st Birthday

On Father’s Day the kids all wanted to wear ties like Andrew. He got everyone dressed up for church.

Then it turned into an Andrew photo shoot with all the kids taking pictures of him.

Andrew celebrated his 31st birthday with a lot of work outside! He and the kids weeded an existing bed and then dug a trench around the back of our house and filled it with mulch. Emily worked with him for the entire process and Nathan and Laura ebbed and flowed between the inside and outside.

Andrew also built a bench to go by our back window and also function as extra seating around our dining room table when we have people over (one day!).

Nathan and Laura worked with me to bake Andrew’s birthday cake and then Emily helped to frost it in the evening.
