Andrew has been teaching at a gifted students summer camp for the last two weeks here at Purdue. As part of one of his classes he had them do a short electronics unit. They didn’t use all the supplies so Andrew brought an electronic bracelet kit home for Emily to look at.
He handed her a battery and LED and let her try to turn it on. She struggled with it for a bit and Andrew helped her out a little, but in the end she got it to light and exclaimed, “Wow wow woow!” with some excited laughter. It was the perfect introduction to her electronics education and very fun to watch her discover something completely new.
