Holy cow this week. Last night Andrew and I sat at our kitchen table completely exhausted and utterly amazed at all that we did and know that only with miracles are we still alive.
I honestly don’t know half of what Andrew did this week. He was up until 3 am twice and only went to bed before 10pm once and was out of bed by 7:30 or 8 every day. He finished grading the class he teaches and submitted the final grades. He wrote some papers for his class. He did some major statistical analysis with data he collected and found out things were significant. He perfected his presentation and defended his thesis proposal – all 80 pages of it – and passed. And he came home early on Wednesday to play Mary Poppins for me when I had a few children in our home and discovered I could no longer ignore the sickness I had been battling all week.
I cannot believe how much descended upon us finals week, and I am equally amazed how well we handled it together. I am grateful for Andrew.
