“I Can See!”

Emily is really good about getting her hair done, except when the squirt bottle is broken because we use alternate methods that having her shouting, “Towel towel towel!” We finally remembered to put a squirt bottle on the shopping list to replace the broken one.  She saw it on the washer this morning while eating breakfast and said, “Daddy bought a new one for Emily! A blue one!” It has been a hot topic of conversation today.

Andrew brushed her hair this morning, but before going outside to play today in the beautiful spring weather I suggested that we do her hair.  She chose a bobby pin and a headband.  Once both were in place she ran around saying, “I can see! I can see! I can see!”  I can’t remember if she or I suggested we take pictures, but she is saying, “See!” in each one.  I’m a little shocked with how old she looks.
