We have been married almost eight months, and a busy eight months it has been. We have about a week of freedom (aka finals week) before Spring term starts. There are still a few tests to take and presentations to give, but still I am finding hours of extra time in my day. In just 48 hours, the living room has been organized and deep cleaned (it no longer resembles a locker) and two homemade meals have been devoured and all dishes washed. Yes, I love taking a short break from school.
Now this picture below is my first real cooking experience in eight months. All of my creative energies have been put into other projects using various materials (plastics, metals, woods, clay, and lots and lots and lots of duct tape); however, this morning those creative juices were flowing in my favorite workshop of all: my kitchen. Actually it might not be my favorite, but it was a nice change. And much less messy. And I don’t think I was put at risk for lung cancer or brain damage (story for later).
But back to our first eight months. We have done some pretty cool things in our classes, which will over time be highlighted here. So look for flashbacks in addition to our current happenings here at The Jackson Post.
