- It is safe to turn on the TV again now that the elections are over. I also have no reason to turn on the TV now that the elections are over.
- Frozen yogurt always tastes good. And we keep testing that theory just to be sure.
- When you pray to know where to move, that ‘where’ will be made very clear (actually I guess I learned this when I was 14 and my family wanted to live in a certain area in Canada but every house had a certain flaw – like the door falling off its hinges and landing on my brother when he tried to open it). So I relearned the principle – more details coming once we’ve put some money down (like a deposit, not a down payment) and it is officially official.
- It is worth it to me to buy dried coconut instead of wrestling with its fresh counterpart. Opportunity cost.
- Old laptops that you see in the history books still exist. I don’t know if this one works, but we found it at Andrew’s grandfathers home and had to collect proof. Pretty cools huh!? Andrew actually had a version of this laptop pictured in a lesson he gave his seventh grade keyboarding class about the history of typing just before we found this treasure.
- Andrew is THE BEST husband. Ever. I relearn this daily with gratitude. This Monday he came to help out (rescue) with a recording project that took me off guard at every turn (starting with the discovery that the song was 8 minutes long halfway through recording the piano part, we had two hours to record and mix, and we also needed to add guitar and vocals, AND I forgot to bring the CDs to record the final mix onto – he also brought those).
- Which reminds me, everything is better when you step away for a few days. Even music mixed in five minutes sounds better three days later.
