The kids have been doing a lot of water coloring.
We did a summer camp with lots of moms from a few wards combined. The youngest hung out in the hallways while the big kids had gospel related activities. One day we spent at the beach and the kids had so much fun running and swimming in the ocean. I have a lot to figure out when it comes to managing everyone at the beach. I had a lot of hernia pain this week and was grateful for places to go.
We walk and bike to the library at least once a week. Everyone loves looking at all of the flowers.
On Friday’s we meet our friends at a park that has lots of hills and green space, chickens to feed, a fountain, and some walking paths. We are grateful for so many homeschooling families that we get to spend time with here that were instantly our friends.
The kids have been going to the McBrides when I go to doctors appointments. They are big fans of the sandbox.
We are taking full advantage of having a backyard space for the kids to play and create and bike in. The kids found a chain that they tried to dig up. It has been warm so we borrowed an AC unit from a friend and bought another one to make the inside more bearable.
I took family photos of the McBrides and it was so fun to use my photography skills again.
This sign is right across the street from our church building on Yale Campus.
The kids made an “ice-skating rink” by putting calendula oil on the wood floor. It was very slippery! And an extra surprise when they did it a second time after a big clean up.
