the surgeron on Monday and he scheduled me for Wednesday. It was a whirlwind finding people to watch the kids, have Andrew finish up his responsibilities at Yale, pack up the house (Jenny and Mindy came to help, Sam and Erika came for a weekend, and Grandma and Grandpa Moose also came to help us finish up and Grandpa Moose drove the moving truck down with us). So much help and so many miracles from everyone in our circle.
Our last Sunday at Yale.
It’s moving time! We took about 2 days to drive down to Georgia, enjoying the opportunity to swim in pools, cool down in malls, and get as much as sleep as we could in hotels. We met up with Grandpa Moose for dinner each night. He very kindly drove with all the plants in the front seat with him.
We got our house keys around lunch time and then got to work unloading the truck. Grandpa Moose stayed for a few days to help us get settled and get a washer and dryer into the house.
We started going on adventures with new friends immediately. Sandy Creek was a familiar concept after all of the beaches we went to in Conneticut.
The kids spend a lot of time playing outside and exploring our yard and all of the new plants and animals.
