Pi Day: 3.1415

When we realized that Pi day was the coolest it will ever be in our lifetime, we made sure to acknowledge its existence on Saturday. We spent time in the morning cleaning our yard and the afternoon at the park. When we got home we made homemade chicken pot pie together and chocolate pie for dessert. It took a lot of convincing to get Emily to try the chocolate pudding pie, but once she had her first taste she was in love.

Andrew and I went on a date after Emily went to bed. We tried out a pinball arcade in Lafayette. We were both out of our element but we started to get the hang of it towards the end. Our night ended with a 90 minute planning meeting over frozen yogurt, so now we have very full looking calendars and some sort of idea of what the next six months could look like.
