Project Time with Mom

I’ve been working on a  project that has a deadline tonight.  I need the programs on Andrew’s computer though which he takes with him to campus most days, so once or twice a week Emily and I have working marathons.  Emily is a great project buddy:

Sometimes she likes to be a big girl and sit next to me while I work.

And other times she just needs to take a break.

And when things get really rough (for either of us), it doesn’t hurt to hang out as a rabbit and swing for a bit. I found this little gem from my days in a metals class at BYU while working on my project today.  Soon after this picture was taken I went to have my welding work passed off.  My professor marched me right back into the lab to give me a little one-on-one instruction because my first attempt was deplorable.  It sure was fun though!
