- Kissing is very encouraged before heading off for the day and going to bed at night. If we gave her a kiss but didn’t kiss each other, she starts chanting, “kiss, kiss, kiss”!
- Hugging each other, except right before bed, is highly discouraged. Emily pulls on Andrew’s legs and says “daddy off mommy” or “mommy off”.
- Hand holding is never okay. She always pulls our hands apart and slides hers in instead.
This compass of hers is a treasured and versatile possession. Yesterday it turned into a camera while I was taking pictures and she wore it around her shoulder, just like mom.
