Snow Globe

This morning we woke up to rain. While we were making breakfast the rain suddenly turned into snow. We spent the day in a snowglobe of huge, fluffy snowflakes. I kept exclaiming, “Emily! Look out the window! Check out that snow! Those are huge snowflakes!” She told me after a couple of my suggestions while cleaning the kitchen after breakfast, without looking up, “I already did.” 

As soon as Nathan went down for his morning nap Emily and I threw on our coats and stepped onto the porch. We caught snowflakes on our tongue and marveled at the massive amount of snow falling from the sky. 

We spent the rest of the day inside staying warm and looking out the window at the storm (me) and our incredible maintenance men snow blowing the sidewalks and plowing the parking lot (Emily).
