Is that final or what?
I absolutely love finals week. I always have actually. It all started when I was eight years old and my mom started reading Harry Potter to us. Everything about that book was magical and exciting and I anxiously awaited my call to come to enter the wizarding world at age 11. But it didn’t come.
Until my first finals week at BYU. And then I joined the wizarding world in the excitement of examinations. Studying in the library and commons room with the best of the magical folk. There is so much energy in the air walking by clusters of students trying to cram information into their heads as quickly as possible. And it just feels cool to walk into a room where the whiteboard is covered in Organic Chemistry equations or Arabic – there is so much knowledge floating around campus. Plus it is so nice to have a different schedule. And to strut your stuff in the testing center.
I only have one final left. And one day left in the magical world of wizardry. Is that sad or what?!
It is also snowy and cold here in Provo, UT. Our car has a mustache.
For a random catch-up, Andrew and I went to the last BYU women’s soccer game. It was really fun, but really really COLD!
