Today I Choose

“For the Lord shall comfort Zion, he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving and the voice of melody… Awake, awake! Put on strength… I am he; yea, I am he that comforteth you.” – Excerpts from 2 Nephi 8.

I read that this morning before getting out of bed. Today is full of choices.  Today I choose to awake and put on strength. Today I choose to be grateful and sing and feel the joy and gladness that comes.  Today I choose to be comforted by Jesus Christ.
