Last Saturday we found ourselves with literally nothing to do. After a quick google search we loaded up for a little adventure. We went to an outdoor zoo exhibit at the art museum in Lafayette. The animals were very impressive, although we didn’t love them so much that we considered buying them with their $700 – $1200 price tags. Emily did like the animals, but she was really interested in the rocks and sticks that were on the ground. We took a huge collection with us into the art museum. We wandered around the first floor and stumbled upon a pottery studio. There were three people working in there and they welcomed us in. They gave us a little tour, told us about their projects, and gave Emily some clay to play with. We opted to head home for lunch instead of looking at the exhibits upstairs, so a return trip will be necessary on another empty Saturday.
Andrew also got his masters diploma in the mail this last weekend. He’s official!
