After Andrew and I were first married (I mean weeks after, since some people may consider one year still ‘first married’), we started a wood shop class that was required for our major. This led to many many MANY nights late in the wood shop together, working on our projects building a coffee table and end table.
Well last night Andrew was working on building some lever demonstrations for his class and needed the use of the wood shop, so we spent a couple hours there last night. It was so nice to smell wood and be covered with saw dust again and blast music and hear machines whizzing and make sure that our sleeves didn’t get caught in equipment and wedding rings were off. Actually, I mostly studied for a midterm, but it was fun to watch Andrew and a few other friends work and help where I could. Safety glasses and a tape measure suit him!
